25 Random Things About Me...

1. I have been a vegetarian since I was 10. The raw chicken at Wheeler Farm day camp sealed the deal.
2. I have wanted to be a lawyer since the second grade. I have this cute crayon drawing from the 2nd grade of a gavel that I intend to have framed and put in my office.
3. I hate roller coasters.
4. I LOVE to talk. My favorite thing to do is have lunch with a friend and talk for hours. That is why the law is the perfect place for me. That is what they pay me to do :)
5. I have a best friend for every stage of life. I haven't lost the previous best friends, but I tend to just have one at a time. I am more of quality than quantity person. I have dragged poor Emmy through three going on four stages of life.
6. My favorite movies are "Gone with the Wind" and "Mona Lisa Smile". I love the civil war era and the South, so GWTW is the perfect movie. I love "Mona Lisa Smile" because it is about women in education, a favorite cause of mine.
7. I am a serious Neil Diamond fan. I have no idea where it comes from, but I love everything Neil does. I once drove to Boise for 24 hours just to see a concert with my friend Aubrie.
8. I love studying the law. If we didn't have grades to worry about, law school would be perfect.
9. My favorite classes in law school were criminal law and legislation. Oddly enough, my lowest grades. Go figure.
10. I love a good supervised nap. My best naps are on the living room couch when at least one other person is in the room. I don't know whether it is a safety thing, but I get the best sleep.
11. Along the lines of #10, I am an expert "power napper". I can get more out of 20 minutes than most people can out of an hour. This works very well for law school.
12. My favorite place to travel is NYC. I love the Broadway shows and the SHOPPING. Gotta love Chinatown.
13. I love Church History and church history sites, especially Palmyra and Nauvoo. It is amazing to me to stand where people of that level of faith stood and to feel the spirit of the time period.
14. I also love faith promoting experiences and I love when people trust me enough to share theirs with me.
15. I get along really well with people who are much older than I. As a child, I always wanted to spend time with the adults over the kids. In fact, some of my closest friends and mentors are older than my parents.
16. I love Mexican food. My new favorite is Bajio. This becomes a problem since my lunch buddy HATES Mexican.
17. I love to spend time with my family. My parents are amazing and my sister is hilarious (the brother in law is entertainment as well).
18. I am cold all the time. I sleep with an electric blanket in the summer because I am so cold.
19. Reality TV is my vice. I love shows like the Apprentice, The Amazing Race, and Survivor.
20. My favorite show during junior high was Days of Our Lives. My friend Aubrie and I would rush home to see what Stephano was going to do to John and Marlena today.
21. I love that the law and gospel principles relate so well, and appreciate my time at BYU primarily for this reason.
22. I really don't mind living at home. As long as the parents are ok with it, so am I. What more could I want? Two bedrooms, a bath, laundry facilities and a pool? Moreover, I love my parents house. The yard is amazing and the floor to ceiling windows that look out over the amazing yard are priceless.
23. My parents are AMAZING people. I love that they work so hard, that they have a strong testimony of the gospel, and that they have endured so much. I was even more amazed by them when I watched them pull us all together at the death of my little sister.
24. I rarely go a day without checking my email several times. Law school has chained me to my laptop, and now I am addicted.
